Very scratchy and uncomfortable on my skin.

I wanted thick cotton percale bed linen. I washed these sheets 3 times in 4 days. They're less stiff now, but they're so scratchy and uncomfortable against my skin that I had to get them out of bed in the middle of the night. I am very dissatisfied and will not buy it again.

Pros
  • Finally got it

Stop looking for "sheets with lots of threads. "

I can't tell you how much money I've wasted trying to achieve "thread count max” in sheets. That's a lie! Back to basics - percale bedding! These sheets remind you of what some others have said. It's like sleeping on Grandma's soft sheets. They are deep enough to cover my 15 inch mattress and still have room, easy! I will be buying percale bedding from now on!

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish

Lovely Old School Cotton

10000% cotton :) Which I love. I'm not a microfiber fan so I bought these. You will definitely need to iron after washing and drying if you want them to look smooth. I don't know who irons the sheets anymore lol but it's up to you and by the way, the whites are cream, maybe a little bit ivory. Fits snugly and snugly for a king, and if you have those new super duper king pillows, the pillowcases can compress them a little and be a little short.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Working speed

If you don't mind wrinkles, these are good sheets.

These sheets are made entirely of cotton fibers. When first opened and placed on the bed, they were heavier and stiffer than other cotton sheets, but they fit well. They are very wrinkled when first taken out of the dryer; so much so that i did something i had never done before. I petted her before putting her back on the bed! Frequent washing has softened them considerably, and while they still wrinkle after drying, they appear less wrinkled over time. The color was listed as "Sage" but I…

I love these sheets!: Sheet & Pillowcase Sets

I've been looking for new sheets for a long time and was so happy I found them. It's like stepping into a clean, fresh bed in a hotel. Sheets like your mother's are hung on a clothesline to dry in the sun and wind. These are not smooth microfiber towels. These are quality sheets. They stretch around the sheet and fit perfectly on my 12 inch pillow top memory foam mattress and the flat sheet is long enough to stay tucked in. I've already washed them twice and dried them one after the other to…

Finally a real percale

Purchased king in white. These sheets are crumpled. To be honest, I don't think there is a percale that doesn't wrinkle. I really love these sheets. After receiving and washing the first set, I returned and ordered 3 more sets. You are so comfortable. I wish our rooms had the same comfortable sheets. You are a heavier hand. They hold because of their weight. I'm fed up with thin microfiber and polyester towels, they are hot, very thin and sticky to the touch. I can't tell you how many sheets…

Pros
  • A worthy achievement

  • Weak set

Real Cotton Percale Finally

Make sure you know what percale is before writing negative reviews about 'hard' sheets that can't be cotton etc. These sheets remind me of percale sheets sold widely in the US in the 1960's and 1970's. They're not made here anymore and probably never will be, but there's no point in crying over spilled milk. These sheets are exactly the same ones I had back then. ICYMI, percale sheets are "hard", if not, they are most likely satin weave or worse, blends or microfiber. There are many "high…
