I was waiting for the rain to look at the tarpaulin, there was a puddle on the tarpaulin that sat in the middle of the boat all day and not a drop got into mine Boat. I bought an external water drain bar and the 2 straps were a little far apart and the water got trapped. I fixed it and checked under the lid but to no avail, no water. All those people giving this cover a bad rating are most likely bad boat owners and blame the cover for their neglect of the boat. The cover is good quality and the clips are a little cheaper than I would like, the price reflects this. just drop the clips and you'll be fine, I don't expect the case to hold up on the freeway either. If you want a good driving case, pay $700 for a well-equipped one. or just buy this one and take precautions and you'll be fine. By the way, I am very satisfied with this product.
