Update: My rating has just been downgraded from 3 to 1 star. I finally got into the loading/refreshing routine on my desktop. For some reason the software worked better on it than it did on my laptop. I've had a couple of months of pretty good usage. Unfortunately, no run was ever uploaded last week. I see it on the watch but it doesn't load into the program. It must have been a warning that the clock would fail. I connected as usual to update the GPS and the program says to keep the watch connected but it gives me the message "Update failed; disconnect and reconnect." I've been trying this for 2 days but the update doesn't work. I'm not sure if the clock is broken or the software. Anyway I wasted $100 in 5 months of frustration. I'll try to return it but I know they probably won't support this product. The battery lasts a long time but that's because it doesn't do anything to drain the battery.I just wanted a basic watch to keep distance and track pace so I didn't want to pay $200-400. When it works it's great. Battery lasts, GPS finds fast. However, almost every day I get a message saying I need to connect to connect the GPS update. So while I don't need to charge it as often as my old Garmin; I should plug it in just as often, if not more. What exactly needs to be updated each day? Even if I left it plugged in overnight, I was able to during the day couldn't find a GPS during my 4-mile run. If you're working out and want to hit a certain mileage or pace, this may not be for you. Now I'm saving $100 for a watch that works and I have to pay for a lot of the features I don't need. looser.
