Very quite and smooth. I only used it once with 4lbs of Cornish hens and the motor struggled at first and would change direction repeatedly. I helped it along and then it continued to operate in one direction throughout the cook. I'll try a heavier roast over the holiday weekend.
- perfect replacement at less than half the price for my Weber name brand spit
