GM Dexron VI Licensed Super Deal โ€“ Why bother with Wally World?

Dexron VI is one of the most expensive gear oils and if you have GM 4L70e or similar you may need around 12 liters to fill and maybe 18 to 20 liters to wash. And if you switch through a lot of gears (which I unfortunately do), the liquid costs become stupid. You can try to find Super Tech Dexron VI at Wally World, but they almost never have it, certainly not more than a bottle or two, and nobody needs to go to Wally World - it's a horrible, uncomfortable place to say the least . Anyway, in South Florida I found this here at Revain last week along with a Havoline Dexron Vi, a little cheaper in a 12 pack and couldn't believe the price so I bought them both. I checked last year when I was in the last trance and there was nothing like it here. If it's licensed by GM (which it is, otherwise they can't call it Dexron VI) then it's good enough for your GM carryover. Change the fluid and filter often, buy a real transmission cooler and bypass all those dangerous factory settings entirely. Radiators built into your radiator (which may not route coolant to your transmission and transmission oil to your engine - ask me how I know) know that dropping a sump in a GM 4L60-65-70e only 4 - 5 liters out of a 12 liter makes drivetrain and maybe your drivetrain will last longer than my last 4. And maybe don't let your tuner get rid of all the torque management and be aware that when GM rates drivetrains at 400hp they are 400 PS mean. (not 475) and only in a lightweight F body, not a ยฃ5,000 SUV.
