Good things are best in transmission oils

I have used these in my Civic 97, 2008 Element and 2006 MX-5 Miata and they have all worked great. The Civic used to make hard shifts in hot weather, and this LV fluid provides normal hot-weather downshifting.

Pros
  • certified
Cons
  • doubtful

Excellent price. best in oils and fluids

This is a fully synthetic oil and costs less than alternatives. It's also GM and Ford approved, which means it won't void your warranty. I have used Mag 1 ATF on two other vehicles and have been very pleased with the results.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some faults

good, better, the best!

Great value Approved Automatic Transmission Fluid for use where DEXRON-VI is required. Approved by GM/Chevrolet for use in their automatic transmissions. I use it in my 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van. In 1995, DEXRON-MERCON III became standard. It is always better to exceed the minimum standard. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great price, great layers, Mercon LV approved!

Used on my old Civic and now my 2010 F150 and 2015 Lexus RX350. To be honest it works great. The shifts are nice and smooth and the price is good for a full synthetic. It's also officially LV (Ford) approved, another bonus. Also, I use Lubegard too, but it's a great standalone ATF!

Pros
  • Superb design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

As good as any fluid you can buy

100% synthetic with all the additives required by every manufacturer ---- at the price of a base gear oil. I lower the sump and give it a good clean, clean/replace the filter and add this new one. My second order is enough to make both Lexus cars in the family. It works! You can spend more, but why? I've done my research, so don't hesitate to order any Mag 1 products.

Pros
  • Outstanding all-round performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

2012 Ford Taurus SHO

This automatic transmission fluid is Mercon LV approved for Ford vehicles. It's listed on their website and also on the bottle. The picture on the Revain website should be of an older bottle. I've definitely noticed the improved shifting and it's almost half the price of the Motorcraft Mercon LV ATF. Use with confidence on Ford Mercon LV. Don't use Valvoline Maxlife ATF that 'fits', isn't approved for the Ford Mercon LV and isn't worth the risk.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Available in black only

Ford C-max eCVT 2016

Works the same as Motorcraft Mercon LV fluid in my 2016 Ford C-max Hybrid eCVT transmission. On level ground and with long drain times, refills were 3 ounces less than 4 full liters. I collected and measured the factory fluid at 64,500 light miles, mostly on the freeway. Only 2000 miles after draining/refilling with MAG1 and no problems. I now have an extra 2 liters and can buy another 6 liters to give me 2 full fluid changes for a thorough flush. Not sure my case will need a full flush any…

GM Dexron VI Licensed Super Deal – Why bother with Wally World?

Dexron VI is one of the most expensive gear oils and if you have GM 4L70e or similar you may need around 12 liters to fill and maybe 18 to 20 liters to wash. And if you switch through a lot of gears (which I unfortunately do), the liquid costs become stupid. You can try to find Super Tech Dexron VI at Wally World, but they almost never have it, certainly not more than a bottle or two, and nobody needs to go to Wally World - it's a horrible, uncomfortable place to say the least . Anyway, in…
