Review on 🍲 prepAmeal 6QT 8 IN 1 Pressure Cooker: The Ultimate Multi-Functional Instant Cooker for Fast, Delicious Meals by Justin Ott

When I bought it, I wanted a multifunctional appliance like the Ninja Foodie, but at a much lower price. I decided to give this machine a try after reading the reviews - the price was right, and by including a mealthy grinder, I got all the versatility of the Ninja Foodie for almost $100 less, with the exception of the dehydrating option. which I think is possible with manual settings. 6qt looks very similar to Insta Pot and others and is perfect for 3-4 servings. I used a pressure cooker to make the flan - lol. There was a learning curve involved - I didn't attach the lid as securely as I thought, steam leaked out from under the lid - but with the safety features not allowing for pressure build-up, this was more of an embarrassment than a problem. After aborting the program, I learned, as usual by trial and error, how to put the lid on securely. (One of those who read the 1s manual, I don't like looking for things!) I've also used Mealthy air fresheners with it and have been very happy with the results and how easy it is to clean up. So far I'm happy with this purchase but I feel like I need more time to use it before I can give it 5* simply because I've had trouble figuring out how to remove the lid to direct to access the inside the box. - only to find that I made it more complicated than it was, simply due to my familiarity with other devices that had a 'button' that had to be pressed to open, there is no need! It was very well packaged, box within another box with matching pillows inside - photos of the box/contents show it is well packaged - no damage in transit. I bought an extended warranty hoping to get great service from both the device itself and the manufacturer. I'll update my review in a few weeks to learn more about its features; Differences between hi, med, lo settings for each function; the ability of each function to work properly; Non-stick coating and circuit board as they seem to be a big problem with other pressure cookers like this one. All in all, I feel like I made a wise decision, but only time will tell.
