Better than my camel. It's still working after 1 day a week for over 6 months and has outlasted my previous one-offs. It sometimes leaks out of the disc where the hose attaches, but before you put it in your pack you just squeeze it and if it drips just unscrew it and screw it back on a little tighter and that releases the problem after a try or two. I put some teflon tape around the perimeter of this disc so I don't even have to worry about it now. This construction is well thought out, the filling hole doubles as a tube hole, which solves the problem of seam tearing that occurs with other types. Also a great mouthpiece, a perfect dual flow design that rotates more easily than a pull or swivel design. I also feel safe because there are no chemical leaches in the bag because it doesn't smell like plastic as bad as others. Every now and then I add a teaspoon of bleach, then deflate and let it sit for a while and it seems to clean well. I also keep it in the fridge all the time, occasionally adding a few drops of dish soap and water. just because my old was starting to taste bad after a year of sports drinks. I am happy to report that they have redesigned the filler cap which was my only issue in my initial review above as it occasionally leaked. This new part is black instead of clear so I noticed it straight away, they've narrowed the edges and made it slightly larger so that when you tighten the screw cap it pulls into the hole and makes a perfect seal. I've used this 5 times and am happy to report it never leaks! I noticed that the mouthpiece only opens when you turn it further. I think they changed it because it could leak on the old one if you don't close it all the way, but on this new one it looks like it has to be turned all the way out to leak, which I really like because I it can twist it a little to close it. Also when I forgot to close it I still haven't had a leak so maybe that has improved as well although a little more time on the device will show that aspect as it starts to leak from the bite valve when the vortex doesn't is closed as I will try to update this review.
