After reading the reviews before buying, I got what I expected; useful but imperfect product. Pros: - It was one of the narrowest but tallest benches I could find. At 6ft 1in with bad knees, size was important to me. It feels durable and after a few months of using it in the bath, it still feels like a durable piece of furniture. - It withstood exposure to water and did not mold. Maybe because it has time to dry completely between uses. . I expected the top surface to have slightly rounded parts that would be sanded smooth. I sit on the towel when I use it.” Slipping in the tub is enough to be dangerous. I bought rubberized feet to stick to the floor so it doesn't slip too much. - As this is a bamboo piece of furniture, it must be handled with care to avoid splinters. - The edges of the jagged part of the table above don't always line up. It doesn't detract from utility, just looks.- It arrived with a few imperfections (see photo) but since it lives in my bathtub I didn't have to alter it. .
