I like the exterior and a smooth underside for gliding over surfaces. It is easy to use and calibration is quick. My only concern was the need for repeated testing to determine the location of the spikes. The results didn't seem that consistent, so I rescanned a few times. Difficult to rate a product on this basis as it looked like they were heads or a few spikes packed together which may have contributed to the results. Anyway, I was relieved to see that the wood had been damaged by the drilling. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap, functional bolt finder. This worked for me! Four holes (to fix the TV) and no missing parts!
