Poor service and a complete lack of support from Crucial make buying this SSD a very bad choice. Support issue with this device but the management console does not recognize it. This means that you cannot properly manage or maintain the device. Even after four new versions of their management software, it is still not supported. Crucial support even lies in the provision of a replacement drive. After phoning support for almost 5 hours and proving that the problem was with the drive and not me. Crucial support never sent me an RMA link to ship the disc. The justification for my wasting so much time is given by support as not wanting to bother their customers with long downtimes because they have to ship the failed drive before shipping a replacement to the customer. Don't take my word for it, search the internet for other people having problems with this disc. Then check if a firmware update is available for that drive. no Crucial even stopped pretending it would ever fix the problem and no longer offered a firmware update on its support site. There are many other comparable drives in this price range that are actually supported by the manufacturer. Why buy from Crucial that has fraudulent support methods? you have been warned
