At the time of my purchase, the official Xbox adapter was not literally available everywhere. It was also apparent that using a Bluetooth dongle with Xbox controllers is unreliable as I've always had issues. That was great. I've never had a disconnect. Not once. I've played with up to 3 people with no problems so far. I am very satisfied and it is cheaper than the official adapter!
