Review on ๐Ÿšฒ NoTubes Stan's Tubeless Road Valve Stem - Rectangular Stopper: The Ultimate Solution for Effortless and Reliable Tubeless Performance by Robert Sisco

Never again: Sport

I'm a big fan of Stan's tape and caulk, but these bars were beyond useless. They worked fine for a while, but then the core came out when I removed the lid. When reinstalling the core I tried to tighten it but then the whole core turned. After that it wouldn't close no matter how much I twisted the stem. After the core first came out, I only screwed the lid on lightly, but the core still accidentally fell out when I removed the lid. Not believing that this is due to operator error, I installed a different brand stem a few months ago and had no problems. Most annoying was that I had two short rides and had to hobble backwards between frequent stops to air the tires. I don't know how a manufacturer can screw up such a simple device, but Stan figured it out. I gave two stars because they worked for a while but after that it just had problems.
