These are your standard puck lights, battery operated with remote and direct/manual control. They only have one downside, and it's significant. You can use the remote to set the color, and then when you turn it on and off with the remote, as expected, it activates the color you set, so you don't have to keep resetting it. (That's great, and that's how all lights should work if they're good quality.) Well, if they're turned on manually by pressing , they should cycle through the primary colors, whitish, red, green, blue, and then turn them all off when you turn it on. So I want to press red so I don't wake up to a blue light at night and I need to press twice quickly to turn on the red light. When I go back to bed I have to press green, blue and off three times, which is just ridiculous. You really need to tweak the design so the color set by the remote stays the color until the remote resets it. That issue aside, these are great little lanterns that are great for nighttime lighting as well as nice interior lighting for closets. Good luck finding one that is right for your needs.
