Review on 🚪 Depo 333-50011-122: Metal Smooth Black Exterior Door Handle for Jeep Wrangler, Front Driver Side Replacement by Eric Salem

They are quite difficult to replace. This is not the fault of the manufacturer or seller, it is Jeep's fault. It outperforms OEM and many other pens sold here. The unit fits and looks good, and has a pronounced catch in the drive that prevents the reason you're here in the first place is the handle failing again. On OEM grips, the actuator has a short steel lever operated by an even shorter cross lever connected to the grip. This product has a much longer set of levers, one of which is stacked a bit on top of each other, which greatly increases the life of the product. I forgot to take a picture of it during installation because I was too excited about not having wiggle room and big hands. Removing the old grip is made easier by hooking a long cotter pin to pry out the original pin and using long flathead screwdrivers to break the old locking pins and reusing the old metal retaining anchors. It takes a bit of fiddling to remove the old one, what worked for me was snapping off the top of the old retaining spring clips and then pushing the old clips up and loosening the anchors.
