I will update this review when I use it, but for now there are a few things I would like to point out. โ˜† Sponge Mismatch: I've been using the orange sponge for many years now and I love it. However, it seems to me that every purchase is different. The ones in this set seem to be even more different. Have you ever tried a Dollar Store kitchen sponge? Because that's what this makeup sponge looks like. More like cheap foam than the denser spongy stuff I've encountered in the past. To be fair, I might just need to break it in and use it more. But even washing was a very different experience. I used a shampoo to wash it out (which I've had for years) because it's easy, the product removes well and washes out with a few swipes and runs. This one didn't release any soap residue and made an interesting noise with each squeeze. โ˜†Quality: Kind of goes along with the above, but on top of that, the purple sponge broke in the wash. I haven't even had the chance to use it and I only washed it before use for hygiene reasons, but it's torn. Bad sign.โ˜†Size: I like different sizes and shapes and I took a picture of the sponges after they've been washed and gotten wet so you can see they stretch out like they should. In contrast to the dry ones still in the package, these have expanded so much that they no longer fit in the intended places in the package.
