I am a 330 pound man and I needed something to change light bulbs in my home so I purchased this, and even though it says 300 pounds on the site somewhere it also said 330 on one place I read, and when I got it the label on the thing said 330, so I'm pushing the limit but it stood up well for me, and I have used it to change bulbs and dust fan blades thank you very much.
