I bought one of these sets (half bowl and stand) based on reviews and am now buying another one because it's just great. For example, I just cooked fish and fries. Lifting both out of the pan makes them crispy and delicious. Another thing they're great for is that you can bake cookies and use a rack to chill them. High quality frying pan, solid grate, frying pan will not warp in hot oven. The only thing I would add is that if you get it from those "Silpat" mats that need to be placed on the floor (they fit perfectly), all you have to do is quickly take out the pan .
