Wanted something higher for chicken and turkey chops. It's perfect, a baking rack is great if you're cooking in the oven or letting something sit and drain the oil. Good size frying pan. I've been using it regularly (every week for cooking) for several months. I love it so much I just ordered another one. Pretty easy to clean. It's a bit big for my dishwasher when full but easy to clean by hand. I mean if you spray it with some Pam or something.

I bought one of these sets (half bowl and stand) based on reviews and am now buying another one because it's just great. For example, I just cooked fish and fries. Lifting both out of the pan makes them crispy and delicious. Another thing they're great for is that you can bake cookies and use a rack to chill them. SUCCESS! I didn't really have major doubts about the quality, but I was more concerned about the size, but it holds about a pound and a half of thickly sliced bacon with no problem 👍, and the grate holes are the perfect size for bacon. don't fail! I am very happy with this rack and look forward to baking many more things on it. An empty bacon bag is included for display when shopping.

When I received this pan I was surprised by its weight when I picked it up. It seemed heavy so I immediately grabbed the magnet and made sure it was actually aluminum and not something cheaper like "aluminized steel". The weight I felt is due to two things I believe. The aluminum pan itself is thick aluminum with a nice strong rim, and inside the rounded rim my magnet found what could have been heavy steel wire.
