So far it's a great value. Well made, feels like it will last a long time.
When I received this pan I was surprised by its weight when I picked it up. It seemed heavy so I immediately grabbed the magnet and made sure it was actually aluminum and not something cheaper like "aluminized steel". The weight I felt is due to two things I believe. The aluminum pan itself is thick aluminum with a nice strong rim, and inside the rounded rim my magnet found what could have been heavy steel wire. The steel wire in the rim probably helps make the pan more rigid and prevent warping (okay). So far I'm very happy with this pan. As soon as I have made use of it, I will adjust the rating if necessary.
