Easy to install. I just watched a YouTube video and followed the instructions. I liked that this controller has the same scrolling mechanism as the original Jeep part. I suspect some other regulators use some sort of cable system to raise and lower the windows. They seemed cheap to me. This one looks stronger. Let's see how long this lasts. A word of advice: I had to sand down the plastic part where the small metal ball from the window was supposed to snap. The small metal ball has a base that would not fit like this, and the metal ball would not reach far enough for the clip pin to snap into place. The window inevitably comes off. So we took a nap to sand enough space for the base to fit into the plastic for the metal ball to snap into place.
