to put on my mini schnauzers due to a side wound. It's either that or the cone of shame. Also, with the cone, he couldn't use the dog flap. Overall this fits pretty well, but it did an excellent job of wrapping the body, keeping him from licking his wound and letting him do his gardening when the time came, and as a bonus it was clean so there weren't any skid marks or drips the material. It's a thinner material like a shirt, maybe a bit thicker, but definitely not for a winter jacket. Pretty easy to put on if you start with the front legs and then button up at least one button at the back. We bought three of these so we can wash one, get him to wear one and then have a spare ready just in case. I wish they offered him in a pack of three and maybe a fun design like an arrow pointing at his head and saying knock here, or snacks. Slightly different but overall a good buy for our needs to protect it.
