I wear 8.5 US, 39 European and 6 UK street shoes. This is my 6th pair of ballet shoes I've bought online (several from the ONE brand) and none of them fit. Everyone wears it so differently. So DO NOT buy 2 sizes smaller than yours. NO NO NO! The maximum you need is ONE size unless you want to tie your feet like the ancient Chinese did with their geishas. Nice slippers and definitely perfect if they are the right size, but since I have to ship them to myself all over the world I end up spending $35 each time on shipping alone. Now I'm giving up until I can get to a real store and try them on. So the low stars are not for the quality, but simply for the obscure sizing information available on these items. Bloch and Capezio are very special as each individual style seems to fit in very different ways.
