Fitted to a 1997 Ford Expedition. Exceptionally bright. Too bright for use as dashboard lighting. Even when fully dimmed, these lamps light up almost completely, so complete darkness is not possible. When the lights are off there is actually enough leakage current to barely light the LEDs, which is actually nice since you can tell where and which lights are. Although the "Check Engine" light was too bright when off, I had to reset the bulb. These are white bulbs, so the lighting looks blue. Initially, ordinary light bulbs are yellow and the inner mask is blue, so the highlight looks green. Eventually I will replace them with lower brightness yellow LEDs to bring back the original look.
