Review on πŸ”Œ Cable Matters 12 Port Vertical Bracket: Efficient Cable Management Solution by Nick Childs

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Although it holds well to the wall it's not very strong

Works very well although you know the plastic bracket while holding it well to the wall is not very strong. It's too easy to pull the panel out of the bracket (a large bundle of wires behind the panel going into the connectors may be enough to slide the panel out of the bracket. This can be mitigated by making sure you have the Pulling cables through both ends (top and bottom if used vertically) rather than having them all come from the bottom will likely loosen it up.I found it much more convenient to lay the board on a nearby work surface and punch a hole there, however not all installations have this option. The perforation block on the back of the panel is nicely color coded with EIA/TIA 568a and 568b patterns easy to read so those of us who don't do this every day don't have to try and stick to wire order to remember.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Many things
