Review on BOSCH RA1151 Centering Pin and Cone Router Subbase by Donald Larson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So I "dared " it and it worked out great. I can also use it for my old one.

Bought for a centering round stand for the new DeWalt DWP611PK compact milling kit as the original DW is twice the price for the job DNP617 and some reviews weren't too encouraging (stunning, etc..) . So I "dared" it and it worked out great. I can also use it on my old but still powerful Bosch B1450 (it never occurred to me to do this procedure in the past). Turns out I needed it more than I thought I would. In order to secure the liner guide to the base, a centering pin for the insert set must be used that fits into the guide, as was the case with the solid brass Whiteside 9500 insert kit purchased at the same time.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Communication with seller
