This heater looks and works well. I doubted the claim that it could heat 1000 square feet, but after using it for the first time last night I believe it. That thing gives off a lot of heat. The hot air blows out of a small opening under the stove and it blows straight into the room instead of down, so neither the top, sides or floor under the heater gets hot. The only downsides are that the logs look good but are very light, I don't know how strong they will be; and the legs were a straight bitch to get up. The "pre-drilled holes" in the heater's metal casing were actually not very well drilled. They were too small for screws, so it took a lot of muscles and finger joints to tighten them. But I made it, and now I'm in love. This heater has proven to be a good buy.
