4 stars. Very happy with this item because it highlights my fancy aquarium with 3.5 cockers and 2 males, but the suction power is not what it could be. One of the suction cups was damaged and failed during the test. The other suction cup survived and is now in use. This is good value for money. As for the thickness, I would have preferred it to be thinner and it is. A 3.5 gallon aquarium doesn't need a lot of light. I will still be using the color changing light that came with my tank but I still need a bit more brightness. So this light is used for extra brightness. I want to see more of my pets and now I will.
