I have six Barred Plymouth Rocks, so I get 4 to 6 eggs a day when my girls are really humming. I was rotating two one dozen egg cartons, but I didn't like the way it looked on my counter and it was difficult to keep track of the rotation.I decided to try this egg skelter. I didn't think the eggs would roll all the way down and I would have to goose them along, but at least I'd have a good first-in/first-out system and it would look better on my countertop. I was wrong (I don't say that often). The first egg I dropped in spiraled all the way down to the bottom, same with the second. The second hit so hard I thought it might crack. I like watching the eggs march down the spiral. It seems pretty stable. I'm not worried that it will fall over.Buy with confidence.
