I couldn't fit the medium format slides (all in cardboard holders) into the adapter intended for film or negative, but I was still able to scan them by making a cardboard adapter with a cut out for media. Since they were all over 60 years old I wasn't worried about cardboard stains on the pictures. I just wanted to digitize them while they were still in good condition (too late for some, colors turned too red). Medium format, but luckily I went with this one because it said "120 professional film" or something and I knew my father-in-law was a photo geek. I didn't know but old brownie cameras used this size too. I am very happy with the product which I think has saved me a lot of time when trying to build something that works with large slides.
