My kids just got into the Lord of the Rings (movie, video game). One morning I panicked when my wedding ring disappeared because my son took it as a toy (I take it off when I sleep). I figured I need to do something to make sure this doesn't happen again lol. This is an inexpensive toy that is good for children. The ring itself will NOT detach from the chain unless you rip it off, which is easily done with scissors. We decided to leave it on so the kids wouldn't lose them and I'm happy with that decision. The ring is the same size as my wedding band (maybe a little smaller). Children cannot wear the ring on their finger as it is too big, so it is best to leave it on a chain to avoid losing it. Like Frodo, they stick a key fob on their shirt or pants. This is good value for money. Exactly what you expect.
