Installation was easy after watching the YouTube tutorials on how to do it. The trunk opens perfectly now after ignoring the problem for a few months and carefully opening it myself by pushing with my hand so it doesn't fire lol. The only thing I had trouble with was that the original spring didn't have a safety pin on the end of the ball side so I tried installing a new one but it didn't work because this new one has a safety pin. which prevents it from entering the ball socket. Make sure you remove the pin first before trying to waste energy by pushing it in, as that won't work. Otherwise a good product for the price!
