In exchange for this review, I received QUARKACE sewing thread, 20 colors of sewing machine thread and bobbin set, 850 yards per spool, all-purpose polyester thread for sewing, embroidery, and quilting. I want it here first. I am a former tailor and worked as a quilting and sewing teacher for a sewing machine salesman for almost ten years. As such, I'm pretty picky about things like yarn. A good sewing machine thread should be smooth and even. Undesirable characteristics include "fluffiness" as these loose fives can rub off in your idler pulleys and affect the stitch quality of your machine over time. Unfortunately this thread is more than a little blurry. sewing thread. It's certainly durable, I couldn't easily break it by hand, but it can be a hindrance when sewing more delicate fabrics like quilt cotton. (Use cotton swaddles or 100% cotton for this when sewing.) I would leave this for heavier synthetic fabrics so the thread doesn't literally cut through the seams when wearing your garment. That being said, if you carefully remove ALL lint from your sewing machine before each sewing session, this thread will serve you well when making projects with heavier fabrics. Animals, as the filling puts a lot of stress on these seams.
