Review on Kohree Ceiling Interior Lighting 4000 4500K by Ronny Welch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great energy saving lamps.

There is nothing better. Easy to install, affordable, and most importantly, they work great. At a minimum, you'll need a Phillips (and possibly a square-head) screwdriver, wire cutters, and wire strippers. Mounting screws and wire nuts are included but I found them too small for my application. A quick foray into hardware gave me #12 screws and medium and large yellow wire nuts. I also used an electric drill to drill mounting holes in the bases of the new fixtures, insert the larger mounting screws and remove the old screws from the old fixtures, and screw in the screws for the new fixtures. I also used black plastic tape to wrap the wires and nuts before pushing them back into the mounting holes. Scissors were used to cut the ribbon. I would estimate about 10 minutes or less to remove the old light and install the new one when you have what you need. Remove the old bracket, attach and strip the negative and positive wires. about 3/8 inch or so wire. Be careful not to touch the cables unless you have removed the trainer batteries or turned off the switch. I left mine fully plugged in, just being careful. Take the new light out of the packaging and then remove the lens by pressing on the side closest to the switch. Remove the protective film from the lens. Then I drilled the mounting holes. The new flashlight has two non-polarized wires that make it easy to connect. Twist all relevant wires together and tighten the nuts. At this point I wrapped the wires with black plastic tape. Make sure the new light works properly. Put the wire nut back into the hole. Be careful not to puncture the wire and screw the new base into place. I found enough of the old holes lined up to make the installation neat. Put the lens cap on, starting from the outside edge first, then clamp and mount the part of the lens next to the switch. I've also used single LED lights from Kohree to replace old bedside reading lights and such. Enjoy!
