Just received so I don't know how long the 9v battery will last, especially with the included Bluetooth. The screen isn't backlit, but the Bluetooth display on my Android phone works and stays connected over 20 feet away. The wires are not comparable to my Amprobe, they are a bit shorter but then the Amprobe wires cost almost as much as I paid for this gauge. They are of good quality and well insulated. The high-contrast labeling makes it easier to dial in the settings. Non-contact voltage measurement is an optional feature. It finds 110V wires in the wall and tells me if they are live. It's hard to tell which wire is hot in a tight bundle because it's so delicate. Readings in microamps are also good to have. The rubberized case feels strong and durable, but the dial isn't too recessed so it can become brittle in a fall. in the tool box. All in all a lot of functions. Very happy with the purchase.
