Review on πŸ”Œ Optimized RPi Terminal Block Breakout Board Module: Ultra-Small for Raspberry Pi by Kenny Rossi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality, complete with installation hardware

The Chinese just keep getting better This is by all accounts a very well made product, not the usual Chinese crap that eBay is all too often inundated with Despite the tiny size required for a credit card sized single board computer (SBC) As with the Raspberry Pi 4, the terminal block is well made and the miniature label printing of each GPIO pin function is crisp, clear and legible. The included accessories are useful and save customers from searching/buying a mini screwdriver for small screws separately. The standoffs/standoffs are brass, not plastic, and everything looks fine, allowing you to use the GPIO header on a Raspberry PCB with straight connectors that you plug in vertically (corner connectors are obvious). This is not possible as the closing block is on both sides). The small box of product arrived three weeks earlier than expected. For those who plan on cramming as many wires as possible into a small raspberry without buying a large add-on, this comes highly recommended.

Pros
  • 2.54mm/0.1in pitch terminal block, wire size 28AWG to 18AWG, strip length 4.5mm, M1.6 steel screw, pin head and copper cage.
Cons
  • Reliability
