I love it when I order something from Revain and get it in 2 days. Yesterday I received my copy of the Shape Workshop for Quilters*. I have to admit that the title confused me a bit, but when I saw this book I immediately wanted to make almost every block and quilt in it. I like the X Marks the Spot block designed by Brioni. I see myself adapting this template to use a jelly roll. How fun and easy is it? Then there's the adorable Tacha quilt, cute and simple. I think this might be the birthday blanket I need to make for my granddaughter's second birthday. There are so many fabulous cubes and quilting patterns in this book. I think I will return to her for a long time. Kathy Jones, I'm the Red Monkey, has designed a masculine reversible blanket. There are so many projects in this book that I could finish it in a year and I could never do everything I like in it. The instructions are clear and concise, and the photos in the book not only help with making the quilts, they encourage you to make everything in the book.
