Review on 🔧 EZ-106 Silver Oil Drain Valve with 14mm-1.5 Thread Size by Joe Garczynski

I have had an EZ-Oil drain valve on my 2007 3.8 Chrysler Town & Country engine for 18 months. I love that it has a plastic grip cap that makes it easier to open and close the valve. This keeps the metal handle from cutting my fingers while the Fumoto oil drain valve has nothing on the thin metal handle. The fumoto valve always stuck in my fingers when I opened the valve. But. The EZ oil drain valve seal design doesn't work for me. The EZ oil drain valve has been leaking around the stuffing box for a year. I'm done with this valve. I will replace it with a more expensive Fumoto. I've never had the slightest leak with the Fumoto that I've had on a 150,000+ mile Civic. (I sold the Civic and the fumoto valve came with it. I now regret it. I had to remove the fumoto valve and replace it with a stock drain plug.) I used an original design fumoto drain valve with a long adapter on a 2006 Honda Civic engine 1.8L. As it had a long adapter this meant 2 spacers had to be used. A gasket for the adapter to the oil pan and a gasket for the valve to the adapter. Fumoto uses fiber pads and they never leak.
