Useful once installed

Just what I needed for my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. I poured 5 liters of oil and found that I only need 4.5 liters. Thanks to that, I was able to easily dump the extra 0.5 liters without making a mess. From now on, changing the oil is child's play! I like that you can control the flow so you don't have to worry about it until the flow comes out of the valve. Love it!

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Zero

There were my doubts. But.

Was afraid of it. But I have to say that after opening, closing and inspecting the structure I decided to install it on my f250 diesel. So far so good, no leaks, just replace the drain plug with this valve and you're good to go. I bought an extra screw in the cap to use as a little extra protection but that's just a matter of common sense. I see no need for a lid. This should make draining the oil and collecting oil samples much easier. I am happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Change the oil like one of the speed oil shops

In my particular case, an 09 HHR SS 2.0L turbo, the drain hole wasn't exactly perpendicular to the drain pan, so when I installed the part that Device was not seated properly, resulting in leaks. I had to tighten it another turn and a half because the lip that turned the ball valve got in the way of the sump. A few moments of fear hoping not to tear the aluminum threads and in the end we moved on. I love this feature and will replace the original drain plugs with them!

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • High price

This is an oil pan saver

I bought this unit to make changing the oil in my Chrysler 200 easier. I'm going to unthread my oil pan drain plug. Install this device once and you don't need to remove it to drain the oil while owning the car. The device is delivered without a sealing washer between the valve head and the oil sump. There is an integrated O-ring for this. I'm not very tall. I'm a little worried it might leak. hope it does the job i will see.

Installed on a 2011 FORD f-350 DIESEL 6.7 and it worked great.

Installed on a 2011 FORD f-350 DIESEL 6.7 and worked great. I replaced my oil pan with a steel pan found on all post 2011 Ford 6.7 vehicles. I ordered an elbow to run straight into a 5 gallon bucket. The problem with the old drain was that the plastic was an obstacle that could easily come loose or break. I had to change it on a Ford. This little hatch has a few minuses. It drains slower if it's not properly warmed up, and it doesn't have a magnetic function if you're concerned about that…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Once you use these forks you will never go back to them.

We have fitted quick release connectors to all of our trailers and although people are afraid to use them, our trailers end up in landfills every day and we've never had a problem with them. It takes a lot to convince people and we did it. I've never heard of any problems with people using them. That's a huge myth. If you unscrew the oil plug all the way, you're in big trouble, and they have locks so they don't get knocked out. The same class as our trailers. Knowing what they are and…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Before installation, make sure the O-ring is tight.

This was fixed when I replaced a plastic oil pan (thanks Ford) with a later model year metal oil pan on my 2011 F250 Powerstroke. The o-ring here is slightly smaller than the OEM connector and does not quite fit the sealing surface. I applied some anaerobic thread sealant just in case the pan and plug were clean, so I figured there couldn't be a better time. It has only driven about 500 miles and has no leaks. Obviously the valve part hasn't been used for an oil change, but this part is pretty…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Why isn't that standard on cars? It is so good.

Thanks to the owner or dealer who last changed the oil in my car. I'm so thankful I was planning to install this on my new car along with the oil change. The old drain plug was rounded and almost impossible to remove. Thanks to this, I never have to worry about it again or be able to unthread my oil pan, which is plastic with a metal insert for the drain plug. One mistake I made was buying a 90 degree elbow extension which I don't need due to the angle, it's my fault for not looking at the…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Very expensive

So far everything is great

Installed on a half-cylinder during the last oil change. I have to say I was paranoid that this thing was leaking, I didn't trust it at first, I must have checked it for leaks 30 times in the first 5 days after installation, but it never leaked. Haven't had it in a very long time but so far so good, it fits perfectly in my pan and seals perfectly. I still don't fully trust it and check my gauge often but hopefully I never have a problem and it's a fantastic product. The reason for 4 stars…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • A few little things

I like the plastic cap of the pen. I don't like padding.

I have had an EZ-Oil drain valve on my 2007 3.8 Chrysler Town & Country engine for 18 months. I love that it has a plastic grip cap that makes it easier to open and close the valve. This keeps the metal handle from cutting my fingers while the Fumoto oil drain valve has nothing on the thin metal handle. The fumoto valve always stuck in my fingers when I opened the valve. But. The EZ oil drain valve seal design doesn't work for me. The EZ oil drain valve has been leaking around the stuffing box…
