This was fixed when I replaced a plastic oil pan (thanks Ford) with a later model year metal oil pan on my 2011 F250 Powerstroke. The o-ring here is slightly smaller than the OEM connector and does not quite fit the sealing surface. I applied some anaerobic thread sealant just in case the pan and plug were clean, so I figured there couldn't be a better time. It has only driven about 500 miles and has no leaks. Obviously the valve part hasn't been used for an oil change, but this part is pretty straightforward. I actually received this as a 'used' part, there was teflon tape on the threads, someone tried to tape it I think, although teflon probably doesn't work with straight threads!
