Witcher Wild Action Figures & Statues by Dark Horse Deluxe Review

A gift for a game fan. He loved it. Looks really great! Be careful opening it, the scabbard on the back is very thin and we almost bent it to get it out, but he tried to just pull it out rather than cutting through the plastic holding it in place. Although it's perfect!

The statue looks pretty cool apart from a small issue with pink hands and red eyes instead of yellow ones. But my statue had a broken sword hilt on its back, and the sword hilt Geralt is holding is broken, so that's a bit of an issue. If it came whole and not broken, 4 or 5 stars

I have bought all the 1st series witcher statues and some 2nd series ones (like this one) and the quality is excellent across the board. They are very detailed and look fantastic. The only thing to watch out for is when they're holding a sword, as swords are flimsy and easily broken. It's not really a big deal because they're designed for a shelf or drawer, not games.

In general, this is a good statue. I look like Geralt, the pose is good, the sword isn't bent like in series 1 and the armor looks great. I just want to know how someone thought it was ok to paint fingers PINK and how it got into mass production. Dark Horse has terrible quality control. The first few episodes were in the $27-$30 range, so I think we could forgive some of the issues. But at over $50 for Series 2 it's no good.

The hands aren't completely painted over and don't even come close to matching Geralt's skin color. The crossbar of the drawn sword was bent and broken. Was able to gently bend back but it's partially broken and a good punch will break it for sure. Also, the sculptors seem to have had trouble aligning the sword hilt and blade. The sword's hilt is at a noticeable angle to the blade itself. Maybe it's the factory, but Geralt and Ciri's latest alternate costume suffers from the same problem…
