I've read a lot about different wet and dry dog foods. Our 12 year old beagle is in great shape but appears to have a food allergy. We go to the vet and spend hundreds to get some prescriptions that knock down the reaction. Dryness of the skin, itching and now and then hair loss can occur. We have found that the right shampoo helps just as much as the right diet. We spend money up front on good food and have no skin problems or allergies. We found the flavor and size of the nuggets really appealed to the dog. It's expensive, but I'd rather pay for premium dog food than my vet's new Jaguar or his new golf clubs. A visit to the vet seems more expensive than a visit to Costco. I love my dog but the vet bills were too high. We found the best way to keep your dog healthy.
