For many years I was ashamed of dead skin on my heels. I've tried regular foot files, exfoliating foot masks, daily moisturizers, nothing has helped. I ordered this thinking it might make a little difference - boy did it make a difference ok! If, like me, you have a lot of dead skin, you'll have to make an effort, but you'll end up with smooth, soft heels. I got this result by soaking my feet in hot water for 10 minutes, drinking them, and then washing them and dampening them in socks. After a few iterations of this, my heels will probably look like new! Very happy with it. Be careful as the item is very sharp and if your hands are not strong enough you may need to ask someone for help. Overall, I recommend this for people with severely calloused heels!
