I've had it for about a week now and actually use it with my 17 inch laptop. It fits perfectly underneath without sticking out to the side. You don't even realize he's there, which I like. My laptop is so easy to lift, move and reposition. I also find it very comfortable to sit on my knees. In my opinion, pillows or cushions are not necessary. Laptops just aren't that heavy. Unfortunately, it's quite thin and flexible and doesn't allow my laptop to breathe well. It's only good for browsing, but when I try to play games or watch movies, my laptop gets very hot. It's a shame because otherwise I think the product is really great. I think it's a good idea to make them so they don't flex and maybe have no material on top to allow for better cooling. I hope Grifiti Deck reads this and takes note if you haven't already. I would definitely buy one.
