For ice fishing it is easy and seems to do what is advertised.

I bought a Lucky for ice fishing and it did not disappoint as I intended. The depths were accurate, it showed a rocky bottom which I know is true and the 7m bottom marked fish from time to time and this is where I went jogging and caught lake trout. Heading is good down to -10 C. I fished at -16 with no consequences for the viewfinder. It's not the Humminbird chirp I use on my boat, but it did what I wanted it to do.
