Review on Tow Ready 118496 T Connector Tacoma by Scott Ward

The instructions were correct for my car and not outdated as is so often the case. I installed this on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma in about half an hour, but it could have been done in half the time. The crockery looks consistently very high quality. After you have removed the two taillight mounting screws, you must pull firmly so that the two latches release the taillight. It's a bit confusing at first time, but nothing will break. It is designed for this type of work. I used some extra zip ties to secure the wires to the existing wiring harnesses under the truck. Three of them are included in the package. With this kit, the electronic part is glued to the panel behind the rear light on the driver's side. This seems like a much better solution compared to other kits that have the electronics centered under the truck bed and exposed to the elements.
