I love Dr. Squatch as a business (especially their genius Facebook moderators) and was dying to love their shampoo and conditioner, but I have long hair and it doesn't suit me at all. Not at all. At the same time, I gifted it to a friend who has a regular short haircut and he really likes it. He has sparse short hair that suits him perfectly and is cheaper than the Aveda products he uses. I have thick long hair and it made my hair look like a coarse wool sweater and even a detangler didn't help. For me I would give it one star and ask for a refund but for my boyfriend he would happily give it five stars and ask for more so I figured it would be best to write an honest review to help future buyers. If you have short hair, this piece is amazing and you should definitely try it. If you have long hair let me know what you end up finding as I'm still looking. Oh, and I should also mention that I have very sensitive skin and it didn't irritate it at all. That too is a clear plus.
