Generates a decent amount of heat, although not much. I installed it in our home air conditioner in our pickup truck in about 15 minutes. I could see how many people are not satisfied with the result. Doesn't blow hot air. However, it blows warm air and our camper is quite small inside. I think this would be ideal for reducing the amount of propane we use in cold weather. It also takes a few minutes to fully warm up. I decided to test it and see how much heat it gives off. I put my thermometer from the fridge on the counter and let it regulate the temperature. Started at 62'. Turned on the stove, closed all valves and let stand for 10 minutes. Came back and found a thermometer at 72'. Again, this is a pickup camper, so the square footage is much smaller than even the smallest trailers.
