Review on Extra Large Black Architectural Mailboxes 6300B-10 Oasis 360 Locking Parcel Mailbox by Russell Roberson

We've had mail theft in our house and neighborhood recently, so we need to look for a lockable mailbox. We purchased an Architectural Oasis 360 mailbox from Pewter along with an Architectural 7540B-10 mailbox adapter plate. Overall we are very happy with both purchases. 1) Hello to the seller for delivering the mailbox before the stated delivery time. 2) We originally wanted a black mailbox but it would have taken weeks to ship so we opted for a tin box instead. We ended up liking it, better than black! 3) We recommend purchasing a 4x4 adapter plate along with the mailbox. It securely fixes the box and greatly simplifies installation. The only constructive comment we have is that it would be nice if the adapter plate mounting hardware came with a protective cap to avoid scratching our hands when we received the mail. 4) Best of all my mail is much safer now as the L shaped metal hole (shute) prevents mail from being pulled out of the open slot. We originally bought another Revain locked mailbox from a competitor with a slot that fits an adult woman's hand to allow access and pull out mail or packages from the inside. The box was returned immediately.
