Detachable bag - overall pretty good for my needs

This review is for a bag, not a backpack. I have an old hiking/ski bag that I use as a climbing bag. I needed a small, easy-to-access bag for groceries and a phone when hiking in the mountains. With the new backpacks, these pockets are integrated into the hip belt, which is a great feature. I don't have this in my backpack so I needed an extra bag. It fits better than anything else I could find (other options seemed like tactical/military overkill). It's a little bigger than I need but I'm sure I'll fill it up anyway. It seems well made and durable. It's lightweight and inexpensive. The soft interior looks like it's delicate on phone screens. The only thing I missed was that the clip-on part of the ratchet straps is only suitable for very thin hip belts. This makes sense if you're using this manufacturer's pack, other lightweight packs, or hydration packs. Difficult to get it to work with the thicker straps of larger backpacks. They have a second securing point - Velcro straps. Nice feature. Located at the ends of the straps, they fit better on a larger strap, but are less secure than buttons. I would have preferred if they rearranged the buttons to the end and placed the velcro in the middle; You get more versatility and more security. But I love it and I'm keeping this little guy!
